AltEase Image Alt Text Manager helps WordPress users find images that are missing ALT text and add useful ALT descriptions directly from the WordPress admin.

The plugin scans images in your WordPress Media Library and identifies images that do not have ALT text.

It can generate ALT text suggestions using existing WordPress image information such as:

Image filename

You can review and edit the suggested ALT text before saving it.

Installation

Upload the altease-image-alt-text-manager folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
Open Image ALT Assistant from the WordPress admin menu.
Scan your images and review images with missing ALT text.
Generate, edit, and save ALT text as needed.
