FAQ

What is MPG used for?

MPG allows you to create thousands of targeted landing pages in bulk, optimizing your website for programmatic SEO. It’s perfect for businesses looking to scale their content creation, improve search visibility, and save time on manual page creation.

How does MPG work?

MPG generates pages based on your template and data source. When a URL is requested, MPG checks if it’s in its database. If so, it renders the page with the appropriate content, returning a fully formed, unique page optimized for search engines.

Is MPG compatible with my theme or page builder?

Yes, MPG is designed to work seamlessly with most WordPress themes and popular page builders.

How does MPG improve my SEO?

MPG allows you to create targeted, keyword-rich pages at scale, improving your visibility for long-tail keywords and local searches. It also generates sitemaps and internal links, further boosting your SEO efforts.

Can I update my generated pages in bulk?

Absolutely! MPG makes it easy to bulk edit your pages, compared with WP All Import. Simply update your data source (CSV or Google Sheets) or modify your template, and MPG will update all affected pages automatically.

Is there a limit to how many pages I can create?

No, however in the free version the dataset is limited to the first 50 rows only.

Is there a tutorial available?

Yes, we offer comprehensive tutorial videos and step-by-step guides. Check them out at https://docs.themeisle.com/collection/1572-multiple-pages-generator

I was scouring the web trying to find something that would quickly and automatically create new profile pages for our customers based on information we gathered from a form. This plugin did exactly that. Great product and even better support. Team was relentless in getting me answers whenever I did have issues, usually ones i created.

I can see some bad reviews for this plugin from a few years ago. Since then, Themeisle has taken over development, and it has gone from strength to strength. We use it on a few sites, and it works really well, and is constantly being improved – including listening to our feedback for new feature suggestions.

We use this plugin to get scale on our efforts to drive deeper into the marketplace. Lots and lots of good local pages, and unique…we’re seeing progress on google with this and we recommend it. We’re aware of no other app that does what this does in the same way…give it a try!

Great tool! It allowed me to generate pages based on custom data sets, saving me a ton of time compared to manual creation. I like the ability to customize templates for each page.

I’ve been working in SEO for a few years now, especially for service area businesses, and I’ve tried a lot of tools to help speed up the process. Recently, I came across the Multiple Page Generator by Themeisle, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer. It’s not often I feel like a product actually solves the issues I have, but this one really did. The biggest problem I had before was trying to manually create hundreds of location pages for clients. It was time-consuming, and if I made a mistake in the template, I’d have to go back and fix everything page by page—not ideal! With this plugin, I can set up a template, add Spintax for variations, and boom, it generates all the pages for me with unique content. The best part? If I need to make changes later, I just update the template, and it automatically applies to all the pages. No more going in and editing each one. Another cool thing is the Spintax caching. Instead of reloading Spintax on every visit (which can be heavy on the server), it caches the first time a page is loaded, so it behaves like a regular WordPress page. This helps with performance, which was something I struggled with using other plugins. It’s not perfect—I mean, no tool is—but the support team has been super responsive. I even had a one-hour Zoom call with one of their guys to talk about what was working well and what could be improved. You don’t get that kind of service too often. It’s a bit of an investment— close to US$399 for the pro version for unlimited sites, and I’ll renew for $799 next year— not cheap, but the time it saves is worth it. I can now offer my clients way more value without spending endless hours on manual work. If you’re working in SEO and need to create location pages, definitely give the free version a try first to see if it works for you. I’m happy I made the switch and don’t regret the price tag.

Small fixes. Testing on the latest WP version.

1.0.1

Added new functionality that allows you to filter the results as well as group the filtered results. You can use the new shortcode that allows you to do this: [mpg where=” group=”][/mpg]. In the “where” parameter you need to specify the name of the column and the value by which you need to filter. Example: where=’mpg_column_name=value’ or for multi column filter just use comma like where=’mpg_column_name=value, mpg_column_name2=value2,…,mpg_column_name7=value7′. Filtered results can be grouped by the value of any of the columns. Example: group=’mpg_column_name’. For filtered data, you can specify your HTML pattern, just insert HTML code inside shortcode like this: [mpg]

{{column_name}}

[/mpg]. Full example of new shortcode look like: [mpg where=’mpg_state=NY’ group=’mpg_city’]

{{city}}

[/mpg]
