Save page and post notes in the editor or while logged in, add notes from the front end using the integrated notes button found in the admin bar.
Features
- Make page and post notes from both the front or back end (while logged in)
- Front end: Lock the note box open or closed on a per page basis so you can select which pages or posts show your notes automatically
- Front end: Movable note boxes
- Front end: Notes are saved using Ajax which means no refresh when you click save
- Front end: The positon of the note box saves automatically once you have finished moving it to your desired location (per page basis).
- Front end: The note box is resizable, the dimentions are saved after each resize
- Front end: The height of the note box increases automatically as you type so you will always be able to see the full note without manually resizing.
- Front end: Status banner appears after every save action so you know when your notes, size and position are being saved
- Dashboard: Dashboard widget that will display all page/post notes with links to each page
Future Updates
- Edit notes created in the dashboard notes widget
- Notes will have users assigned to them
- Basic page annotation for all logged in users (Pro version will give more control)

Installation
- Upload contents to the
/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Plugin works upon activation, you will now see a notes box in posts and pages.

- Q: How do you add a note to the dashboard?

A: Move your mouse to the right side of the “Dashboard Notes” widget title, you should see the word configure appear. Click configure to add or edit your dashboard note.
- Q: How do you move the note box in the admin bar?

A: Move your mouse over the grey background of the note box, then click and drag to desired position.

can u make shortcode for placing in theme file? i want to hide admin bar in frontend.
and it will be better if this notes will be individually for users. I dont want someone edit my notes.

I absolutely love this product. I use it on most of my sites because it has a really nice way of allowing me to provide links to administrators and collaborators about the template and it's ins-and-outs.

Just needs a little polishing. Animated dropdown not neccessary. It would be good if width expanded as you write. Auto-save would be good.

if i tern on https i get errors :

It is nice and simple but on the dashboard I needed to create a note that I can keep updated or delete. There was no option to edit/delete the note, or it was not obvious enough. When I added a note, it did not populate in the next widget box for Saved.
