UTM Tracker

Description

When passing UTM parameters, GCLID, and other parameters to your website it stores this info via a browser cookie for 30 days.
It can then be inserted into any lead generation form on your website. It automatically adds this extra information as hidden fields on your HTML form.

Why Install?

  • Track the source of email ’submissions
  • Track ROI of your Google, Bing, and Facebook ad campaigns.
  • Know which source of traffic is more profitable.

Works With

It automatically works with most HTML form ’submissions ’such as:
* Contact Form 7
* WP Form
* AWeber
* Mailchimp
* Salesforce CRM
* Ninja Forms
* ActiveCampaign
* Caldera Forms
* WooCommerce
* Infusionsoft
* etc.

No code changes is needed with your website. Just install this plugin and go. You do need to add ’support of passing these fields to the service used.

FAQ

What happens if someone visits a bunch of pages on my website/blog before filling the form?

It doesn’t matter. As soon as they land on your website, the script saves the information in a cookie. This cookie is valid for 30 days. It adds this information automatically to your form from the saved cookie.

Where can I find more about UTM parameters and how to properly use them?

I recommend reading this tutorial on using UTM parameters, standardizing the naming and tracking them.

As simple as installing and activating. Add the necessary fields to record the UTMs and then you can send it by email. perfect integration with Contact Form 7.

I don't know how this plugin claims Gravity Forms integration, it just stuffs arbitrary hidden fields into the DOM and GF never sees them. I tried adding hidden fields and naming them the same, but GF uses IDs to name fields, so it never picked up the values. The tracking across pages part does work.

Looks promising, but does not seem to work with WPForms. WPForms is not listed in the Documentation, and so far, I am unable to get it to work. I see the additional hidden fields in the html of the page, however, I am unable to connect these to the form in a way that the values are submitted as well. If someone knows how to do this, please feel free to elaborate!!
